Back When is a modern country song reminiscent of summers past. Blair Mathews wrote the track in early 2019 recalling good times with friends and family – harking back to simpler times. “It seems that life today is so much more complex than I remember, even 10 years ago.” Explains Blair, “I used to have problems just like everyone else. A car that wouldn’t start. Low cash levels, but things just weren’t as serious as they are now. Fans are really responding to the song as they can all relate to the message.”
“Everyone can fondly remember things in their past and long to go back again – if even just for a few minutes.” States Mathews, “I really hope that this song can be the trigger to help folks do just that.”
